Caring Carousel

Miskelly Furniture is a faith-based company that believes in building the foundation of the community. One way Miskelly does this is through The Caring Carousel, located in Miskelly's flagship store. The Caring Carousel:

• Benefits children throughout the state of MS
• Draws people from all over the area who want to help the selected charity.
• Suggests donation of $1 per ride is asked, but no child is turned away who wants to ride.
• Each quarter a check for the funds collected from donations, plus additional funding from Miskelly’s, is presented to the specific charity.
• Has previously donated to Make-A-Wish Foundation and Ronald McDonald House.

Miskelly Furniture feels very strongly about giving back to the community. Several years ago we recognized that there are people in our local area in need. We then began our Season of Giving promotion in which people submit nominations for individuals or families. Miskelly’s, in partnership with WLBT, select recipients to receive furniture and Miskelly’s delivers it to them before Christmas.

Habitat for Humanity

For many years, Miskelly Furniture has partnered with Habitat for Humanity to help people in need. Since 1976, Habitat has worked to provide homes for low income families and many times Miskellys has provided new furniture for their home.
