About Us

Brothers Oscar, Chip, and Tommy Miskelly opened Miskelly Furniture in 1978. They grew up in the retail business as their Dad owned a clothing store in Okolona, Mississippi. There, they learned the importance of customer service, fairness to employees, and teamwork which still guide the business today. Now with seven stores across the state of Mississippi, the Miskelly family is committed to being the most loved furniture store in the southeast. Oscar’s children Elizabeth Ann, Caleb, and Anna Katherine have joined the business, as well as Tommy’s daughter, Abby. The second generation is committed to continuing the mission statement of Miskelly’s “Our family serving your family with excellence” for years to come.
